Education & Networking

The International Stage Technology Conference offers an extensive range of different formats.
Matchmakings help you to make new contacts, at our official trade fair party you can cultivate old contacts or you can take part in talks and panels on important issues of the industry and initiate discussions yourself, giving all participants new ideas.

The programme is managed and carried out by the DTHG in cooperation with partners and their committees.

Hall 20

Stage 21 is an event and experiment location - the perfect laboratory for networking innovative event technology and creative solutions.
Centrally located, this studio stage displays all the uses for a modern theatrical performance area.This is the place to experience how, under realistic conditions, the movement, lighting, sound and special effects for a live performance are created. New developments and innovations in the industry make their first appearance here at Stage21. The interdisciplinary synergy of all the trades involved is presented with a constant focus on the practical aspects, and the possibilities, trends and potential of current and future stage and event technology can be authentically experienced.

Stage painting in the right light – Fire Protection Talk: Nothing burns anymore, let's extinguish! - Stage Design: Model, light and sound - Closing event of the DTHG exhibitors

Hall 20

View specialist topics from a 360° perspective - in workshops, talk rounds and other interactive programme formats. The special atmosphere of the unique building enables the "dissecting view". Your opinion is explicitly requested here.

The perfect setting for discussion, networking and exchange. The RoundTables in hall 21 provide the appropriate framework for the specialist and working groups of the participating associations.

The most important player in the German theatre industry behind the scenes is DTHG. Take advantage of the relaxed atmosphere at the Meetup area in Hall 20 and make important contacts. Match making with lounge character.

For the fourth time DTHG and Messe Berlin will prize theWeltenbauer.Youngsters.Awards.

Entitled to participate are trainees, students (ranging from schools to vocational and higher education) from any country specialising in the theatre, films and event technology. For more details please visit: www.weltenbauer.global.
